भाग्य horoscope rashifal bhagya kismat

क्या आप अपना भाग्य खुद लिखते है? – Rashifal

इसलिए समाचार पत्र में जो भाग्य या राशिफल (Rashifal) लिखा होता है वह अधूरा होता है जिसे हमें पूरा करना होता है – We have to create our own destiny|
हम अपना भाग्य खुद लिखते है – We are the master of our own destiny|  इसलिए यह हम पर निर्भर करता है कि हम अपने जीवन के इस खेल (Game of the life) में बल्लेबाजी किस तरह करते है|हम चाहें तो अपना भाग्य खुद लिख सकते है (We can create our own destiny) और अगर हमको अपना भाग्य लिखना नहीं आता तो गेंदबाज की तरह परिस्थितियां हमारा भाग्य लिख देंगी|

Facts about water pollution

Water pollution is broad term that includes contamination of different water bodies such as lakes, rivers, oceans, and groundwater.

Water pollution is caused by pollutants, mostly in form of different chemicals that are discharged either directly or indirectly into the water bodies without the adequate treatment to remove their harmful effects.

Water pollution is not only huge ecological problem but also huge health problem. It is believed that water pollution is the leading worldwide cause of deaths and diseases responsible for around 15,000 deaths each day.

Water pollution is especially serious issue in two fast growing economies, China and India. Some latest reports suggest that more than 500 million Chinese lack access to safe drinking water while in India 700 million people have no access to proper toilet.

The two main causes of water pollution are waste water and sewage waste. Each year the world generates around 400 billion tons of industrial waste, and lot of this waste gets discharged into different water bodies causing serious water pollution problem.

To determine the level of water pollution science usually takes samples that are afterwards analyzed by different chemical, biological and physical testing.

Several studies have confirmed the link between the water pollution and high miscarriage rates. Water pollution is also connected with the lower IQ rates among affected population.

Diarrhea, caused by water pollution, is worldwide responsible for 1,5 million deaths of children each year.

Recent studies have showed that close to one billion people lack access to safe drinking water while more than 2,5 billion people live without adequate sanitation systems.

Water pollution is one of the main reasons why freshwater resources are constantly in decline (despite being renewable resource), and since only 3% of water on our planet is freshwater world could experience global water shortage much sooner than expected.

Noise pollution facts

Noise pollution is basically any form of noise which has potential to disrupt the normal functioning of any natural ecosystem or some human community.

The main sources of noise pollution are coming from transportation and construction systems.

Noise pollution is not only causing environmental damage but it also has negative impact on human health as it can cause conditions such as aggression, hypertension, high stress levels, hearing loss, sleep disturbances, etc.

Noise pollution is especially serious issue in our seas and oceans, especially for creatures such as dolphins and whales. Noise pollution has very negative impact on hearing sense of these animals, which makes certain activities of these species such as hunting for prey and navigation very difficult.

Noise pollution in our oceans is constantly increasing because of the increased ship traffic and also because of offshore oil drilling.

In United States still doesn't exist the specific body that would regulate noise pollution on federal level.

Unwanted noise causes species to communicate louder which is known as Lombard effect.

Noise pollution can be tackled by many different methods such as by using noise barriers, limiting vehicle speeds, alteration of roadway surface texture, limitation of heavy vehicles, using special type of tires, etc.

Many people still do not regard noise pollution as serious issue that needs more attention on local, state and international level but more like some type of annoyance which isn't so serious. This is the main reason why there are many cities in the world that do not have a single law to regulate noise.

World without the excessive noise pollution coming from human sources would be a much quieter and much more beautiful place to be.

Nuclear waste pollution issue facts

Nuclear power isn't connected with harmful greenhouse gases, and this is one of the main reasons why many people still support nuclear power as one of the best solutions to cut global fossil fuels usage. The newer nuclear power plants have showed to be very reliable in delivering the energy, and are also operating with maximum safety measures meaning that there's almost a zero chance for new Chernobyl accident. Still, despite all of this nuclear energy sector still hasn't solved one of the most important issues, namely the nuclear waste issue.

Nuclear waste is radioactive for around 5000 years, and as such presents not only a big environmental but also a big threat to our health in form of nuclear waste pollution. Nuclear waste needs to be safely stored, and isolated from the surrounding environment in order to avoid the damage.

Since many countries around the globe are determined to add more nuclear power to their energy grid nuclear energy waste issue has become extremely important. For instance, EU will promote underground storage as the safest option for storing nuclear waste.

The additional problem with the nuclear waste issue is also the fact that very few countries across the globe have well-established programmes to implement disposal of fuel and waste from nuclear power plants.

World needs to quickly solve the nuclear waste issue because it wouldn't be morally right to leave this issue for our future generations. As the old saying goes the one(s) who have started the mess should also finish it.

Many scientists agree that deep underground storage is the safest option for storing nuclear waste but the world still faces many scientific and engineering challenges that will need to be overcome prior to actually using this method such as waste container design, the stability of host rock and an adequate measures to monitor and retrieve the waste in case of catastrophic leakages. Of course this will also be connected with huge costs.

But in any case, regardless of differences in opinions, this issue needs to be resolved as soon as possible. On top of so many different environmental problems the last thing this world needs right now is to worry about the safety of nuclear waste disposal.

ozone pollution facts

Ozone pollution is the term that refers to air pollution causedby ground-formed ozone. This is usually the result of interaction

fumes and sunlight.

This kind of pollution is harmful to humans and even more harmful to plants because they are much more sensitive to ozone. The bigger concentration of ozone in the air means bigger damage to plants. The researchers have recently concluded that the ozone damage to plants is the highest in Central Europe because of very high ozone concentrations.

This negative effect that ozone pollution has on plants is causing significant reduction in agricultural yields in many parts of the world and could even lead to serious food shortages.

The U.S. city most affected with ozone pollution is Houston with the ozone readings at of around 41 nmol/mol.

The rise of ozone pollution is adding to climate change and global warming because it disrupts plant's ability to soak up carbon dioxide from the atmosphere.

The scientists have discovered that the concentration of ground-level ozone has doubled since 1850 mostly because of the increased amount of chemical emissions coming from vehicles, industrial processes, and the burning of forests.

Ground level ozone is an air pollutant only at ground level. In atmosphere at a height of 10-40 kilometers above Earth's surface ozone plays major role in protecting our planet from dangerous sun's ultraviolet rays without which there wouldn't be life on Earth.

Chemical pollution facts

Term chemical pollution primarily refers to a form of water pollution caused by presence of different harmful chemicals in water bodies.

The list of chemical pollutants is big and among other includes pesticides, pharmaceuticals, different industrial chemicals such as solvents, flame retardants and plastic softeners, etc.

Chemical pollution of water bodies can cause huge damage to our environment because many of these pollutants are highly poisonous and can in the worst case scenario wipe out entire aquatic ecosystems.

The world still hasn’t come up with the adequate monitoring system despite the fact that the global chemical pollution continues to grow because of the many "new" pollutants which have entered use in recent years.

The current methods of periodically taking samples to determine chemical concentrations in water, sediments and biota have proved to be inadequate and provide only a small part of the picture.

Chemical pollution is even spreading to Arctic and Antarctica because of increased shipping in these areas. Chemical pollutants cause even bigger damage to these areas because their degradation is much slower in colder environment. The maritime chemical transport has more than tripled in the past 20 years.

Chemical pollutants in water can easily enter food chain and cause not only damage to many animals but also to humans.

The worst type of chemical pollution is when people dump toxic waste into rivers, lakes, sea and oceans. A large part of global toxic waste ends up in our oceans where it destroys marine life.

Our industry and agriculture are the two main sources of chemical pollution.

Oil spill is also a form of chemical pollution. Oil spills are responsible for death of many fish species. Oil also sticks to the feathers of seabirds, eventually leading to their deaths.

Chemical pollution is becoming particularly worrying issue in developing countries such as China and India because thousands of their companies continue to dump untreated industrial wastewater filled with different toxic materials and other chemicals in rivers. In China, for instance, more than 40% of their rivers are considered unsafe for drinking.

The adverse health effects caused by chemical pollution are eye, nose and throat irritation, headache, allergic skin reaction, dizziness, nausea, and difficulty breathing. In worst cases (long term exposure to chemical pollution) it can even lead to cancer.

The scientists have estimated that there is more than 70,000 chemicals currently in common use and that this number is increasing by approximately 1,000 new chemicals each year.

In order to reduce level of global chemical pollution world needs to reduce the generation of waste and ensure environmentally safe waste disposal, ensure better monitoring and adequate laws as well as ensure improved level of care when using different chemicals for agriculture and industry such as for instance pesticides.

Pollution facts

22.The quality water-filtering system is good way to protect yourself from water pollution as much as possible, especially multi-layered home water filtering system.

23.The industry is the main culprit behind the global water pollution issue. This is because there are many industries that not obey the rules about dumping waste which results in polluted rivers and other water bodies.

24.It is estimated that there are between 2.5-3 billion people in the world living without the adequate sanitation systems.

25.Waste water and sewage waste are the main source of different water pollutants which enter our rivers and other water bodies. It has been estimated that world at this moment generates more than 4 billion tons of industrial waste per year.

26.One of the most dangerous forms of water pollution is drinking water polluted with arsenic because arsenic is highly poisonous metalloid. Drinking water polluted with arsenic can lead to cancer and many other diseases.

27.Noise pollution is one of the most neglected forms of pollution despite causing huge environmental damage, especially in oceans. For instance, U.S. still doesn't have some federal body that would regulate noise pollution.

28.Huge oil spills like the recent Gulf of Mexico oil spill are among the worst types of pollution on our planet, particularly because their negative effects last for very long time.

29.Ozone pollution has the potential to become significant contributor to climate change because ozone is very potent greenhouse gas.

30.Ocean acidification is one of the worst types of ocean pollution. Our oceans are becoming more and more acidic because greenhouse gas emissions from fossil fuels burning are constantly rising.
